Dr. Stephan Skalnican is a Michigan native being born and raised in Midland. He completed his undergraduate studies at SVSU earning a BFA degree. After a six year career as a graphic designer he became interested in chiropractic after his wife had some amazing results after being under care.
"I'll be the first to admit it, I was a total skeptic. But I saw my wife get better, that was enough to peak my interest and realize there really was something unique to chiropractors and how they help people."
After getting under care himself and seeing a huge increase in his quality of life he toured Life University in Marietta, Georgia. The rest, as they say, is history. He earned his doctorate in chiropractic from Life University and opened a private practice in Brighton, Michigan.
He's very excited to be a part of the Brighton, Michigan community. He's very active in the chamber of commerce and many local events.
"One of the most important things to me is the member experience. You have choices on where you get care. As a chiropractor it's not only my job to make sure your nervous system is healthy, but to make sure you're informed and that I earn your trust."
